Ontario College of Trades looking for input on membership fees

TORONTO The Ontario College of Trades (OCOT) is calling for comments on its proposed membership fees. The College is seeking comments through an online survey on proposed membership fees for the membership classes of apprentice, journeyperson, tradeswork (voluntary and compulsory) and employer/sponsor. “Feedback from the public on OCOT’s proposed membership fees will be an important part of the decision making process as the fee structure for the College is finalized,” says the website. All fees will go directly to the College to fund its operation, according to the website. Proposed fees range from $50 to $600 annually, depending on the membership class. read on
