Drifting Competition

Sunshine, rain and more sun made the track extremely slippery. Sunset is usually known for the very high grip surface. Not this week. The apprenticesearch.com car did more drifting than racing. Not exactly fast, but it sure was a hand full inside the car. All we did between winning at Kawartha and Sunset was wash the car and wax it. Not sure why we struggled so much all night long. We tried more big changes and started way back in 10th. A couple of cautions had us restarting on the slippery outside lane. At the end of 30 laps we made it up to 5th and put 6-8 car lengths on the rest of the field. We should have brought it back on the tow truck, not in 5th. Thanks to the crew for all the hard work. We will get it right for Mosport. Looking forward to our next win this Saturday for fan appreciation night. Come out and get your hero cards and candy.
