The Launch of apprenticesearch.com in Peel-Halton Dufferin took place at a breakfast meeting on Thursday, April 19/2001, at the Mississauga Living Arts Centre in Mississauga. The Halton Industry Education Council (HIEC) performed a demonstration of the website for an audience of 100 attendees, followed by a Keynote Speaker, Dr. Dennis Cauvier. Dr. Cauvier gave a very well-received keynote presentation, 'Cybersearch...Using the Net to Hire Skilled Trades People'.
