Practice makes perfect
It took a while, 75 laps of practice to be sure we had the right setup. Dave,Jason, Tom and Jim all did a great job wrenching on the car. We tried everything this week, including the kitchen sink. Shocks, springs, sway bar, brakes, wedge and tire pressures. It was a lot of work. Third in the heat race and finally a big win in the feature. Kawartha was the last remaining track that our team had not won a race. The pass around the outside of turn 1 was a little scary. I trusted the adjustments the crew made to the car and it all worked out. Another good points night and a thrilling race for the fans. Hard work and effort always pay off. I was not so lucky at the slots, but that's another story.

Kawartha here we come
Sunny skies are in the forecast. We look forward to the trek up 35/115. After a couple of test sessions and long nights in the shop we are ready to go. 4th in points is a great start. Here's to moving up the standings. Racing starts at 6pm, see you there.
